More sport, more wine, more fun!
No matter whether you're in the centre of Eppan, at the two Montiggler lakes in the Montiggler forest, at the well-known Lake Kaltern or in the ice holes - the South Tyrolean Weinstraße is incredibly diverse and never ceases to surprise you.
This diversity is enjoyed by hikers, cyclists, sun worshippers, motorcyclists, culture buffs and families in equal measure. The mild, sunny climate of South Tyrol, in which wine grapes and apples blossom just as well as joie de vivre and tradition, also plays a part in this.
As well as numerous hikes and bike tours, the holiday region of Eppan, which is home to many castles, also offers Tyrolean stately homes, the former imperial spa on the Mendelpass, cellar visits, the traditional Törggelen get-togethers in autumn and many other, lovingly organised events, such as the classic car race, the musical Liedsommer event or the wine culture weeks.
